About The Position

The Lead oversees an assigned warehouse team and area to help ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service. The role involves managing workloads, assigning tasks, training and coaching team members, maintaining accurate inventory and order processing, and enforcing company policies and safety procedures. The Lead also provides support and backup to warehouse management.

This is a day-shift position, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM. The role requires working in a warehouse environment, operating equipment and tools safely, and performing physical tasks including lifting and working at heights. A flexible schedule and overtime, potentially including weekends, may be needed.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and more than 75 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to take a reach truck or cherry picker to a height of 23 feet or higher.
• Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime that may include weekends.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Skills in inventory control and cycle counting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational processes to maintain correct inventory levels and ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Review workload and assign tasks to employees.
• Train and coach the warehouse team, provide developmental opportunities, and recommend performance improvement actions as needed.
• Use the warehouse management system correctly and maintain appropriate work documents.
• Establish, maintain, and promote exceptional customer service.
• Interpret and enforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance.
• Safely operate various equipment and tools.
• Provide support and backup to warehouse management.
• Track orders and investigate problems.
• Catalog and track goods and supplies.
• Maintain a clean environment in accordance with the 7S program.
• Work safely to protect yourself and team members.
