Lead Cleaner - Day Shift Shift
About The Position
The Lead Cleaner coordinates daily operations at an assigned facility by delegating work, guiding team members, and providing supervision when the Manager is not present. The role demonstrates established standards to keep buildings and facilities clean and safe for workers and customers. It also involves operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and supporting general janitorial duties as needed. The position is located at 17320 South Hedge Lane, Olathe, KS 66062, and is scheduled Sunday through Wednesday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Pay is $20.28 per hour. Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Nice To Haves
- One year of similar work experience.
- One year of customer service experience.
- One year of lead or supervisory experience.
- Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Follow assigned work schedules and route cards, and report barriers.
- Provide leadership and direction to team members.
- Maintain open communication between field employees and management, and monitor and document client communications.
- Assist with making daily and weekly work schedules.
- Oversee and perform cleaning operations in the assigned building.
- Take care of keys and access cards for the property.
- Report damaged, broken, or out-of-work features and items.
- Oversee and perform additional service requests (tag jobs) in the assigned building.
- Oversee job quality and confirm completion with the Area Manager.
- Train new hires assigned to the building in accordance with onboarding procedures.
- Complete and validate time records for regular or subcontractor employees.
- Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
- Complete any additional certifications or training needed for the site type.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
