About The Position

The Lead oversees an assigned team and area in the warehouse to keep operations running smoothly and help provide exceptional daily solutions for customers. The role ensures operational processes support accurate inventory and timely, accurate order completion; assigns and reviews work; trains and coaches employees; and supports warehouse management. The Lead also helps maintain customer service, policy and safety compliance, accurate warehouse documentation, and a clean work environment. This is a day-shift role scheduled Saturday through Tuesday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The position requires physical work, including lifting heavy items, operating a reach truck or cherry picker at height, and tolerating hot or cold warehouse conditions. Planned and unplanned overtime may be required, potentially including weekends.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
At least 1 year of SAP experience.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and more than 75 lbs. occasionally.
Ability to take a reach truck or cherry picker to a height of 23 feet or more.
Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends.
At least 1 year of experience as a supervisor.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Skills in inventory control and cycle counting.

Responsibilities

Oversee operational processes to maintain correct inventory levels and complete orders accurately and on time.
Review workload and assign tasks to employees.
Train and coach the warehouse team, provide developmental opportunities, and recommend performance improvement actions as needed.
Use the warehouse management system correctly and maintain appropriate work documents.
Establish, maintain, and promote exceptional customer service.
Interpret and enforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance.
Safely operate various equipment and tools.
Provide support and backup to warehouse management.
Track orders and investigate problems.
Catalog and track goods and supplies.
Maintain a clean environment in accordance with the 7S program.
Work safely to protect self and team members.
