Lead Window & Door Installer - W2, Full Time
About The Position
West Shore Home is hiring a Lead Window & Door Installer to assist with safe, effective residential window and exterior door installations while following company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols. The installer provides customers with a five-star experience, from arrival and introductions through installation, cleanup, and payment collection. The workday begins at the warehouse at 6:30 AM, where the installer loads materials and trucks before traveling to customers’ homes. The role includes removing existing window and door components, installing replacements, replacing trim, cleaning the work area thoroughly, collecting paperwork and payment, and returning to the warehouse. The approximate pay range is $17–$20 per hour; final compensation may vary based on factors such as background, skills, abilities, and location. Requirements
- Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction, or willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- A valid smartphone or smart device for accessing company-required systems using two-factor authentication.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
- Travel to customers’ homes, greet customers, and establish rapport.
- Remove existing window and door components and install replacement windows and exterior doors.
- Replace trim.
- Clean the work area thoroughly and take care of the customer’s home.
- Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
- Follow company standard operating procedures and PPE protocols while performing installations.
- Provide customers with a five-star experience.
