About the position
As a UX Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting investigations into customer experiences for current and prospective products. This role involves using various techniques and tools to gather insights and make informed decisions. You will collaborate with product owners, designers, and stakeholders to improve user experiences and address customer issues. Additionally, you will provide recommendations based on research insights and support the design of solutions. Experience in supporting HCD processes and using qualitative and quantitative research techniques is required, along with proficiency in UX design research tools.
Responsibilities
- Identifying emerging opportunities for improving the user experience of core journeys by collecting and analyzing behavioral, survey, and usability testing data
- Identifying the root causes of wider customer experience issues and helping multi-disciplinary teams tackle them
- Making sure actionable feedback is captured from customers at the right place and time
- Sharing insights with different stakeholders, from product teams to senior leadership
- Helping to develop high-level storyboards and journey mapping that communicate the goals, motives, and means by which groups of customers use, or will use, a given product
- Providing HCD recommendations based on research insight or recognized principles in psychology or ergonomics, supporting the design of solutions
- Using multiple research techniques and providing the design team with multiple sources to understand and empathize with customer or user needs
- Participating in content and application audits, including gauging the usability of new and existing products and making constructive suggestions for change
- Acting as a champion of HCD by recommending the best possible UX research practice, principles, and processes
Requirements
- Experience supporting HCD processes and using qualitative and quantitative research techniques
- Ability to use UX design research tools such as DScout, Optimal Workshop, and video editing software
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well as part of an Agile team environment
