About The Position

The Lead Teller supports branch operations by helping ensure smooth and efficient teller workflows and serving as a knowledgeable resource for the teller team. The role handles complex cash operations, assists with balancing and audits, mentors team members, and provides accurate, exceptional service to members. The Lead Teller supports operational accuracy, team confidence, and a strong branch experience while assisting the Branch Manager with coaching and staff development.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong customer service and sales abilities.
Cash-handling skills.
Excellent communication and professionalism.
Ability to multitask and handle pressure.
Analytical skills and sound judgment.
Comfort using Windows-based systems and business equipment.

Nice To Haves

At least 6 months of teller experience.

Responsibilities

Support the teller team by answering questions and providing transaction guidance and workflow assistance.
Manage and balance the ATM, vault, cash dispenser, recyclers, and coin machines; follow internal controls and complete required audits.
Investigate teller out-of-balance situations and provide corrective direction as needed.
Serve members through accurate transactions, product knowledge, and relationship-building.
Maintain the accuracy and security of cash drawers, checks, gift cards, stamps, and other negotiable items.
Communicate the benefits of Vibe products and services to help meet individual and branch sales goals.
Consistently follow BSA, AML, CIP, and CDD procedures.
Support the Branch Manager with performance suggestions, coaching insights, and staff development.
Complete daily responsibilities, protect member confidentiality, and maintain a clean, secure workspace.
Meet established sales and service goals.
