Lead Technician
About The Position
Pavion is seeking a Lead Technician to join its security business unit. The role involves installing security system devices and programming and troubleshooting advanced electronic control systems. The technician will read blueprints and schematics, use Microsoft Office applications, and communicate effectively with employees, clients, and teams across diverse cultures. The position requires lifting equipment up to 50 pounds and manual dexterity for reaching, climbing ladders, lifting objects, and operating office equipment and handheld power tools. The hourly pay range is $35.00–$50.00, with starting pay determined by qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity. Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience programming and troubleshooting electronic security systems.
- Ability to lift equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to see, hear, speak, read, and write clearly to communicate with employees or clients.
- Manual dexterity for reaching, climbing ladders, lifting objects, and operating office equipment and handheld power tools.

- System certifications, such as Exacq, Genetec, SoftwareHouse, or Lenel.
Responsibilities
- Install security system devices, including cameras, REXs, door contacts, and door strikes.
- Program and troubleshoot advanced electronic control systems.
- Effectively use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Visio.
- Read blueprints and schematics.
- Communicate effectively with employees and clients and interact with individuals and teams at all levels and across diverse cultures.
