About The Position
Everbrook Academy is hiring a Lead Teacher to support preschool children’s learning and development. The role includes creating interactive learning experiences, mentoring fellow Teachers, managing the classroom, implementing curriculum, and following licensing guidelines and company standards. The Lead Teacher also builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success. Candidates should be energetic, dependable, and passionate, at least 18 years old, experienced in leading a classroom and creating lesson plans, able to meet state education and childcare center requirements, and able to work indoors or outdoors and participate in physical activities with children. The work week is Monday through Friday. Lead Teacher compensation is $21.07–$21.89; compensation is based on position, education, and experience.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
