About The Position

Everbrook Academy is hiring a Lead Teacher to inspire children to become lifelong learners. The Lead Teacher creates interactive learning experiences, supports the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children, leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, and builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families. The role also includes mentoring fellow teachers and maintaining knowledge of licensing guidelines and company standards.

The position is based at Everbrook Academy on Richard Reese Way. The work week is Monday through Friday. Compensation is based on position, education, and experience; the listed Lead Teacher pay range is $21.07–$21.89. Bi-weekly and daily pay options are available.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the classroom.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Maintain expertise in applicable licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children’s achievement and support the center’s success.
