About The Position

The Lead Teacher creates fun, interactive learning experiences and mentors fellow teachers. The role promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children and leads classroom management and curriculum implementation. The Lead Teacher is responsible for knowing and following licensing guidelines and company standards, and for building sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.

The position requires working indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with children. The employer seeks energetic, dependable, and passionate individuals who are at least 18 years old and can meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
