About The Position

The Lead Teacher at The Children's Courtyard of Southern Pines creates interactive learning experiences and supports children's development while mentoring fellow teachers. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, follows licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children's achievement and support the center's success. The teacher works with preschool children and must be able to engage in physical activity with them indoors or outdoors.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities
