About The Position
The Assistant Teacher supports the daily care and learning of children at The Children's Courtyard of Southern Pines. The role follows licensing guidelines and company standards while helping maintain a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom. The teacher develops skills in observing and assessing children, planning for their needs, and communicating effectively with families. Extensive training is provided on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
Requirements
- Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.
- Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
