About The Position

The Lead Teacher creates interactive learning experiences, mentors fellow teachers, and promotes preschool children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation and ensures compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards. The Lead Teacher builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support each child’s achievement and the center’s success. The position requires working indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with children. The work week is Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• At least 12 Early Childhood Education units (required).
• Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
