About The Position
Childtime is hiring an Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher to provide daily care and learning experiences for children. The teacher follows licensing guidelines and company standards, observes and assesses children, plans educational activities, communicates with families, completes training on child care and child development, and implements the company’s curriculum through fun, interactive experiences. The role is suited to energetic, dependable, and passionate individuals who meet the stated age, experience, education, and state compliance requirements. Teachers must be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- At least 6 months of experience leading an early childhood classroom and creating educational lesson plans in a licensed center.
- Minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education units.
- Ability to meet state requirements for background checks, immunization, CPR/First Aid, and mandated reporter training.
Responsibilities
- Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of each child in the classroom.
- Observe and assess children and plan for their needs and development.
- Communicate effectively with families.
- Complete training on child care, preschool, and child development topics.
- Implement the company’s curriculum and create fun, interactive learning experiences for children.
- Work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
