About The Position

The Lead Teacher creates interactive learning experiences, mentors fellow teachers, and promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation while ensuring compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards. It also involves building relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success. The position is part-time at Childtime on Springdale St., with a Monday through Friday work week.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education units (required).
• Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
