About The Position

The Lead Teacher creates fun, interactive learning experiences and mentors fellow Teachers. The role promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children while leading classroom management and curriculum implementation. The Lead Teacher is expected to know and follow licensing guidelines and company standards, and to build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education units (required).
• Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
