About The Position

Edge Catering is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Steward to help maintain cleanliness and support the smooth operation of its establishment. The Lead Steward supervises and trains stewards, oversees dishwashing and sanitation, monitors supplies, collaborates with other departments, and ensures compliance with health and safety regulations. The role requires a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Compensation is $16.00–$18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Previous experience in a stewarding or similar role.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Supervise and train a team of stewards in their daily tasks.
Oversee dishwashing, cleaning, and sanitation duties to maintain a clean and organized environment.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
