About The Position

Beztak Senior Living is seeking a Lead Server to uphold the community’s standards of quality and excellence in food, service, hospitality, and friendliness while ensuring other servers meet those expectations. The role involves serving residents and guests in a dining room setting, leading serving staff, and providing prompt, pleasant service while maintaining quality standards. Candidates must be willing and able to drive a company or personal vehicle for work-related purposes as needed.

The position is active and requires regular talking and listening, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. It may occasionally require climbing stairs and lifting products weighing up to 20 pounds. The dining room may be loud, and hazards may include cuts, slips, trips, falls, and burns. Frequent hand washing is required. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Requirements

• Two years’ experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
• Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills.
• Passion, dedication, and commitment to providing seniors with an engaging, enlivening, and captivating living environment.
• Flexibility, innovation, and the ability to multitask.
• Willingness and ability to drive for work-related purposes as needed.
• Complete pre-employment testing in accordance with company policies and applicable state requirements, including criminal background checks, fingerprinting where applicable, and drug testing. State-specific requirements may also apply.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest satisfaction when taking food orders.
• Oversee serving staff to ensure a high level of hospitality and excellence in food service.
• Deliver beverages, bus tables, and reset tables.
• Deliver food quickly, efficiently, and pleasantly while maintaining high service-quality standards.
• Work in a high-pressure environment, interact with difficult customers and vendors, handle urgent matters, and resolve conflicts.
• Operate a company or personal vehicle for work-related purposes as needed.
