Lead Product Manager, Everand

Scribd•San Francisco, CA

About The Position

Everand is Scribd, Inc.'s subscription app for audiobooks and ebooks. The Lead Product Manager will own the Everand app, set its long-term vision, and lead the reader experience across every surface from strategy through launch. The role aims to build an app readers love, help them choose their next book, and encourage them to return, while reaching book lovers who have not yet found Everand. The position requires deep understanding of Everand readers and their motivations, and applying that knowledge to product decisions. The Lead Product Manager will set the iOS and Android vision, strategy, and roadmap; lead a cross-functional squad; identify investment opportunities; balance long-term bets with near-term improvements; test ideas with readers; and measure changes in reader behavior. They will maintain a high bar for quality, performance, and reliability, collaborate across product, engineering, content, and marketing, and communicate strategy to partner teams and leadership as it evolves through learning. The role also calls for using AI in day-to-day product work and incorporating it into the product where it benefits readers while preserving the human aspects of the experience. Success means readers stay longer, engage more, recommend Everand, and more often choose their next read within the app. The app should be recognized for quality, and the squad should ship and learn quickly with a strategy understood and supported by partner teams.
