About The Position

Scribd, Inc. is hiring a Lead Product Manager to own the Everand subscription app for audiobooks and ebooks. The role sets the app’s long-term vision, owns the reader experience across every surface, and leads execution from strategy through launch. The goal is to create an app readers love, helping them choose their next book and return to Everand. The position will shape how Everand reaches new readers as well as serves its loyal existing audience. The role leads a cross-functional squad of engineers, designers, researchers, and analysts; sets goals and makes trade-offs; and partners with product, engineering, content, and marketing teams. The Product Manager uses reader research and behavioral insights to guide decisions, balances long-term investments with near-term improvements, and maintains high standards for app quality, performance, and reliability. They are expected to use AI throughout their work and consider where AI can improve the product while preserving the human aspects of reading. Success means readers stay longer, engage more, recommend Everand, and more often choose their next book within the app. The app should be known for quality, and the squad should ship and learn quickly with a strategy understood and supported by partner teams. The position is eligible for competitive equity ownership and a comprehensive benefits package. Scribd Flex supports employee choice of workstyle and location, with occasional in-person attendance required. Employees must have a primary residence in or near an approved city in the United States, Canada, or Mexico.
