About The Position

Playlist is building AI-native vertical software to empower wellness businesses across the health and wellness market. The Lead Product Manager for new verticals will join a small, fast-moving founding team and drive the full product lifecycle for 0-to-1 solutions serving small and midsize business operators. The role defines operating tools and workflows, supports seamless onboarding and adoption, and builds a long-term product roadmap that can grow with customers. The Product Manager will work directly with wellness business operators to understand their needs, validate concepts, and iteratively shape product requirements. They will lead AI-native product design and development, including deciding where AI replaces workflows, provides guidance, or automates tasks. Working closely with engineering, design, operations, and go-to-market partners, the role owns product vision, strategy, specifications, releases, and contributions to pricing, positioning, and product-led growth.

Requirements

At least 7 years of product experience.
A tangible track record of shipping tools that businesses depend on day to day.
Experience shipping 0-to-1 products and successfully scaling their customer base, with the ability to discuss what worked, what failed, and lessons learned.
Experience building AI-native, agentic products, with informed views on LLM limitations, designing for probabilistic outputs, and earning user trust in AI-driven experiences.
Experience shaping product positioning, influencing pricing and ideal customer profile definitions, and understanding the business rationale behind product decisions.
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to set priorities and act independently in a high-ownership environment.
Experience in a startup-stage environment and motivation to build products that drive real outcomes.

Responsibilities

Own, evolve, and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for new vertical SMB products, aligned with Playlist’s company vision and product ecosystem.
Drive the AI-native build process and design, determining where AI replaces workflows, consults, or automates tasks for customers.
Build direct relationships with practitioners, learn about their unmet needs, and iterate on the product based on field research.
Work with a small engineering and design team to ship quickly; own the roadmap, product specifications, and releases.
Partner with the go-to-market team on pricing, positioning, and a product-led growth motion that drives adoption.
Bring initiative and creativity throughout product development, from initial concept to a product customers rely on to run their businesses.
