Lead Product Manager

Movable Ink•New York, NY
•$168,000 - $215,000

About The Position

As Lead Product Manager at Movable Ink, you will own behavioral decisioning capabilities at the heart of time-sensitive marketing activations. You will define how the platform detects meaningful customer patterns over time and turns them into reliable, high-value triggers, from abandoned cart and price drop to future customer signals. You will partner closely with a technically strong engineering team to set product direction, clarify ownership boundaries across dependent teams, and build the foundation for self-serve behavioral configuration at scale. The role suits a product thinker energized by technical depth, comfortable with ambiguity, and motivated by customer outcomes. Movable Ink scales content personalization for marketers through data-activated content generation and AI decisioning. The company is headquartered in New York City, has close to 600 employees, and serves a global client base through operations across North America, Central America, Europe, Australia, and Japan.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of product management experience working directly with engineering and cross-functional stakeholders, with demonstrated ownership of a technical product domain.
  • Ability to reason conceptually about event-driven systems, stateful logic, and time-windowed pattern detection, and translate these concepts into clear product requirements.
  • Strong prioritization skills, including distinguishing high-leverage investments from parity work and building alignment around sequencing decisions.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguous ownership boundaries and establish durable cross-team contracts in environments with multiple interdependent engineering teams.
  • Clear communication skills across engineering, CX, sales, and executive stakeholders, adjusting depth and framing while maintaining precision.
  • Experience partnering closely with engineering in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where product direction and team processes are shaped together.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for Movable Ink's Behavioral decisioning layer across Da Vinci and Studio.
  • Partner with engineering to define and evolve the trigger library, stateful contact context model, declarative pattern framework, and suppression and eligibility controls.
  • Establish and maintain clear product scope and integration contracts with dependent teams, including events, data persistence, semantic labeling, and delivery.
  • Identify and prioritize high-value behavioral use cases using customer insight, commercial input, and data, and translate them into well-scoped requirements for engineering.
  • Define the configuration model and taxonomy for the declarative pattern framework so new behavioral signals can be created without engineering involvement.
  • Advocate for customers in every interaction and decision.

Benefits

  • A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
  • Additional bonus may be included depending on the position ultimately offered.
