About The Position

TigerConnect is seeking a Lead Product Manager to own the strategy and roadmap for Smart Room, turning the patient room into a connected care setting. The product brings together interactive bedside TV, digital whiteboards and door signs, nurse call, alarm management, virtual care, and AI-powered patient experiences, orchestrated by the CareConduit workflow platform. The role is intended to make Smart Room the platform that completes the bedside experience around the EHR, rather than another point solution competing for the screen. The position will define offerings for EHR-dominant and mixed-EHR accounts, lead strategic hardware and technology partnerships, and guide build, partner, or buy decisions. It will also own interoperability strategy and migration of legacy integrations to CareConduit, while defining outcome-based success measures and engaging strategic and at-risk customers. The Lead Product Manager will work across product, engineering, clinical, commercial, and customer teams and communicate strategy, progress, and risk to executive leadership. TigerConnect describes itself as a healthcare technology company whose clinical collaboration platform is used by more than 8,000 healthcare organizations. The company offers remote flexibility with teams across the US and globally, and has office space in El Segundo, California.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of product management experience, including at least 3 years building products for hospitals or health systems.
  • Experience shipping products combining software, hardware, and third-party integrations in enterprise or hospital environments.
  • Working knowledge of HL7v2, FHIR, and EHR integration, including product implementation with hospital IT teams.
  • Track record leading technology partnerships with joint roadmaps and integration commitments.
  • Clear evidence of making difficult prioritization decisions and saying no.
  • Strong executive communication skills and ability to lead without direct authority.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the Epic ecosystem, including Toolbox, MyChart Bedside, Epic integrations, or competing in Epic-dominant accounts.
  • Experience in smart room or interactive patient care, nurse call, alarm management, virtual nursing or inpatient video, or RTLS.
  • Familiarity with Android-based devices, mobile device management, and TV or set-top box control.
  • Experience with partner evaluation or M&A product due diligence.
  • Clinical or nursing informatics background.

Responsibilities

  • Own the vision, multi-year roadmap, and quarterly delivery plan across bedside TV and patient experience, digital whiteboards and door signs, nurse call assurance and service request workflows, alarm and alert routing, virtual care, and AI-powered patient experiences.
  • Define distinct offerings, packaging, and messaging for EHR-dominant accounts, including Epic, and mixed-EHR accounts.
  • Make prioritization decisions about what to build, defer, or retire based on customer evidence, revenue impact, and engineering capacity.
  • Ensure Smart Room investments strengthen CareConduit as the integration and workflow layer and position the product as a platform rather than a point solution.
  • Lead the product side of strategic partnerships with certified hardware, virtual care, and device partners, including requirements, joint roadmaps, integration design, and certification dependencies.
  • Run build, partner, and buy evaluations, including product due diligence on hardware reliability, supply chain, and lifecycle risk.
  • Translate EHR vendor ecosystem programs and certification requirements, such as Epic Toolbox, into product requirements and timelines.
  • Own the interoperability strategy, including HL7v2 for real-time clinical data and FHIR for modern EHR integration and faster implementations.
  • Lead consolidation of legacy integration paths onto CareConduit with a customer-adoptable migration plan that avoids disruption.
  • Define success metrics tied to health system outcomes, including HCAHPS responsiveness, nurse call response time, alarm burden, adoption, ROI, and usage reporting.
  • Engage directly with strategic and at-risk accounts to shape renewal offers, pilots, expansion proposals, and measurable outcome plans.
  • Work with Engineering, Design, Clinical Innovation, Solutions Consulting, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Business Development to bring appropriately sized initiatives into quarterly planning.
  • Communicate strategy, progress, and risk to executive leadership.

  • 401(k) match.
  • Wellness reimbursement program.
