Lead Product Manager

GydeLos Angeles, TX
Hybrid

About The Position

Gyde is seeking a Lead Product Manager to own key areas of their AI agent portfolio, specifically production voice and SMS agents that manage client conversations throughout the insurance lifecycle. This role reports to the Head of Product and involves being a senior, hands-on individual contributor accountable for outcomes. As an early product hire, the individual will have broad ownership that evolves with the roadmap. The primary responsibility is to guide AI agents from concept through production, ensuring adoption and measurable revenue impact within a CMS-regulated, high-stakes domain. The company is redefining how millions access and understand healthcare coverage by building AI systems that leverage unstructured data, human conversations, and fragmented processes to generate intelligence. They aim to build production-grade voice, chat, and predictive models for a regulated domain, launching technologies that augment human judgment and make complex decisions transparent and scalable, ultimately reinventing the insurance distribution industry.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience.
  • 2+ years of experience shipping AI/ML-powered products to production, ideally in a regulated or workflow-heavy domain.
  • Demonstrated record of owning product strategy and roadmaps end-to-end, from vision through launch and iteration.
  • Fluency in how LLM products are built and improved (evals, prompt iteration, quality/latency/cost trade-offs) to build trust with engineers.
  • Track record of defining metrics and designing experiments to drive product decisions, balanced with strong qualitative customer insight.
  • Daily use of AI tools for prototyping, testing, and validating concepts.
  • Hands-on approach: listening to calls, reading transcripts, and drafting content.
  • Preference for shipping a scoped V1 that generates signal over a complete V3 that does not.
  • A point of view on how AI agents will change insurance distribution and a desire to test it in production.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to drive alignment without relying on authority.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with voice AI or telephony products.
  • Knowledge of the Medicare/ACA or adjacent insurance domain.
  • Early or founding Product Manager experience.

Responsibilities

  • Set the product strategy and roadmap for the AI agent portfolio, adapting to market shifts and learnings.
  • Take conversational AI agents from concept through production launch, adoption, and measurable revenue impact.
  • Own prioritization for the assigned area, determining what ships, what waits, and what is not built.
  • Define success criteria for agents, including call success rubrics, evaluation coverage, escalation behavior, and compliance standards, and drive improvement loops with engineering.
  • Translate insights from brokers, agency operators, and clients into the product roadmap, including spending time in the field (~25% travel) and validating concepts with rapid proof-of-concepts.
  • Define success metrics for all initiatives and link them to revenue per broker.
  • Align founders, engineering, design, and partner success teams around direction, scope, and sequencing, ensuring clear communication of strategy and progress.
