About The Position

The Lead IT Field Engineer serves large, complex clients across the company’s products and services. The role performs server and storage break-fix work, VIP deskside support, and high-level installation activities for storage and network devices. It uses advanced technical knowledge and troubleshooting capabilities to resolve significant issues escalated by team members or clients, and tests and certifies mainframes, servers, and other infrastructure associated with networks and peripherals. The role may require access to export-controlled commodities and technology; applicants should be eligible for any required U.S. Government authorizations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Generally, 4–6 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
• Eligibility for any required U.S. Government authorizations if access to export-controlled commodities and technology is required.

Nice To Haves

• Technical certification or an associate degree may be required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Field Engineer for large, complex clients across the company’s products and services.
