About The Position

Budget Blinds of Indian River County is seeking an experienced Lead Installer to join their expanding Installation team. This role involves installing custom window treatments, including blinds, shades, shutters, and drapery, for both residential and commercial customers. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, possess strong communication skills, and be able to work independently or with other installers. The company emphasizes a fun and supportive work environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction through listening, creativity, attention to detail, and exceptional service. While evening and weekend installations are discouraged, the role requires flexibility to meet customer needs. The company provides major tools, but personal tools and an installation vehicle are required.

Requirements

Living in or close to the Indian River County area.
Lead window treatment installation experience.
Experience installing window treatments for consumers and businesses.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to measure overhead while on an 8-foot ladder.
Pass a background check.
Valid driver's license accepted by the insurance carrier.
Installation vehicle to be used when working independently.
Personal tools.

Nice To Haves

Experience with window coverings including drapery.
Fluent English with excellent writing skills.
Computer and tech skills (PC, iPad, etc.).

Responsibilities

Install custom window treatments, including blinds, shades, shutters, and drapery.
Work independently or with other installers to complete customer projects.
Overcommunicate with other installers, sales, and support teams.
Stay abreast of new product offerings and product upgrades.
Ensure customer satisfaction through listening, creativity, attention to detail, and exceptional service.
