About The Position
Join a HAPPY Early Childhood Academic childcare center as a Lead Teacher. The centers focus on developing children from infancy through preschool by making early education and daycare joyful, engaging, and fun. The Lead Infant Teacher creates age-appropriate learning experiences, maintains safe and organized classrooms, monitors children’s development, communicates with families, and collaborates with fellow teachers.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- At least 2 years of experience as a lead teacher within a childcare center.
- Ability to meet state and local childcare licensing requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree or higher in early childhood education (ECE) or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Execute engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to create fun learning experiences.
- Ensure classrooms meet TLE standards for cleanliness, safety, and organization, providing spaces where children can explore and learn.
- Monitor children’s growth and development, understand key milestones, and celebrate their progress.
- Build relationships with families and share daily updates and cheerful moments through the mobile app.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a supportive and happy learning environment.
