Daycare Lead Infant Teacher
About The Position
The Lead Infant Teacher works at The Learning Experience, an early childhood academic childcare center serving children from infancy through preschool. The center aims to make early education joyful, engaging, and fun, helping children learn, play, and grow through hands-on activities focused on early childhood development. The role involves planning age-appropriate learning experiences, maintaining a safe and welcoming classroom, supporting children’s development, communicating with families, and collaborating with other teachers. The franchise is independently owned and operated; applications and hiring decisions are handled by the franchisee.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- At least 2 years of experience as a lead teacher within a childcare center.
- Ability to meet state and local childcare licensing requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree or higher in early childhood education (ECE) or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
- Maintain classrooms that meet TLE standards for cleanliness, safety, and organization, providing children with a space to explore and learn.
- Monitor children’s growth and development, understand key milestones, and celebrate their progress.
- Build relationships with families and share daily updates and cheerful moments through the center’s mobile app.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a supportive and happy learning environment.
