About The Position

The Learning Experience of The Learning Experience #144 is hiring a teacher for its infant classroom. The teacher helps provide high-quality daycare and preschool education, supporting children’s growth and development in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. The role includes implementing the L.E.A.P. Curriculum® in ways that reflect each child’s individual needs and fostering learning through play. The teacher also communicates with families about children’s experiences and achievements, builds strong relationships with families and coworkers, and works with center staff and leadership to support enrollment and engagement. This franchise is independently owned and operated; applications and hiring decisions are handled by the franchisee.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred.
CDA, associate degree, or higher in early childhood education (ECE) or a related field preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and mentor co-teachers; model behaviors and provide feedback.
Manage the classroom and lead a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
Serve as a role model, use a growth mindset, support children’s development, and inspire a love of learning.
Implement the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® with children in ways consistent with their individual needs.
Create an environment where children can safely play and learn.
Communicate regularly with parents about children’s activities and achievements, including through mobile apps and personal discussions.
Partner with center staff and leadership to support goals for enrollment and engagement.
Build relationships with families and coworkers and foster an environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
