About The Position

The Learning Experience #144 is hiring a teacher for its Infant Classroom. The role supports children’s growth and development by providing a high-quality daycare and preschool experience. The teacher leads classroom operations, creates a safe and engaging learning environment, implements the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® in a manner suited to each child’s needs, and works with families and coworkers to foster children’s learning and classroom engagement.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of professional teaching experience.
CDA, associate degree, or higher in early childhood education (ECE) or a related field.
CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and mentor co-teachers; model behaviors and provide feedback.
Manage the classroom and lead a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
Serve as a role model, use a growth mindset, and inspire a love of learning.
Implement the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® with children in a way that reflects each child’s needs.
Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
Communicate regularly with parents about children’s activities and achievements, including through mobile apps and personal discussions.
Partner with center staff and leadership to support goals related to enrollment and engagement.
Build relationships with families and coworkers and foster an environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
