About The Position

The Learning Experience #144 is hiring a Lead Teacher for its Infant classroom. The role focuses on supporting children's growth and development by creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. The Lead Teacher implements the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® in ways that meet each child's needs and works with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children. The role also involves mentoring co-teachers, communicating with families, and partnering with center staff and leadership to support center goals.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED and 12 ECE college credits required.
Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred.
Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and mentor co-teachers in the classroom by modeling behaviors and providing feedback.
Manage the classroom and lead a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
Model a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.
Implement the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® in a manner consistent with each child's unique needs.
Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
Communicate regularly with parents about children's activities and achievements through mobile apps and personal discussions.
Partner with center staff and leadership to support center goals around enrollment and engagement.
Build relationships with families and coworkers and foster an environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
