Daycare Lead Infant Teacher

About The Position

The Learning Experience #144 is hiring a Lead Teacher for its infant classroom. The role supports children’s growth and development by creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. The Lead Teacher uses the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® and adapts teaching to each child’s needs. The position also involves guiding co-teachers, communicating with families, and partnering with center staff and leadership to support enrollment and engagement goals.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED and 12 ECE college credits.
Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of professional teaching experience.
Associate degree or higher in early childhood education (ECE) or a related field.
CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and mentor classroom co-teachers by modeling behaviors and providing feedback.
Manage the classroom and provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
Serve as a role model, use a growth mindset, and inspire children’s love of learning.
Implement the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children in ways consistent with each child’s needs.
Communicate regularly with parents about children’s activities and achievements through mobile apps and personal discussions.
Partner with center staff and leadership to support enrollment and engagement goals.
Build relationships with families and coworkers and foster an environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
