About The Position

The Lead II assists with setting up, adjusting, maintaining, and configuring processing equipment according to assigned specifications. The role communicates regularly with live production or debone team members and supervisors and completes required paperwork. It also supports machine operators by providing break relief and performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Turn equipment on at the beginning of the shift and shut it down at the end.
• Visually inspect work and complete documentation during production to help ensure defect-free work.
• Monitor the flow of materials through the machine.
• Perform minor equipment package changeovers and change over to the proper raw material as required.
• Ensure equipment and conveyors are on and functioning properly before a run starts.
• Ensure proper coding appears on boxes, trays, and cases, and verify graphics are acceptable where applicable.
• Clear all products from the machine at the end of each run and at the end of the shift.
• Assist in relieving machine operators for breaks.
• Communicate regularly with live production or debone team members and supervisors and complete required paperwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
