About The Position

As a Ground Operations Lead at Veho, you will help ensure the smooth operation of logistics activities. You will coordinate daily with cross-functional teams to maintain safety standards and achieve operational excellence. You will lead a shared shift to support successful launches and sorts in collaboration with Veho team members and driver partners. The role involves working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, using technology to manage operational changes, and moving goods safely and efficiently. Compensation is $22 per hour.

Requirements

Own a modern smartphone and be able to navigate smartphone apps daily.
Be proficient with technology platforms and tools relevant to logistics operations.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of previous experience in logistics, operations management, or a related field.
Forklift certification and/or experience operating box trucks.

Responsibilities

Coordinate operational activities across teams, prioritizing safety and operational success.
Lead a shared shift to support successful launches and sorts with Veho team members and driver partners.
Use technology platforms to manage operational changes, reroutes, and logistical challenges.
Operate a forklift and potentially a box truck to move goods and materials safely and efficiently.
Provide customer-focused support to crowd-sourced driver partners and internal teams.
Communicate effectively to lead a shift.
Perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods, moving boxes, bending, and frequently lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
