About The Position
Lia Insurance Agency is an independent insurance agency and part of a family owned business, Lia Auto Group. Our agency continues to grow and we are now looking to add a dedicated Lead Generation Specialist to our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for flexible, part-time work from home with the ability to earn additional bonuses based on performance. As a Lead Generation Specialist, you will make outbound calls to prospective customers using agency-provided leads, scripts, and a company phone system. Your goal is not to sell insurance, but to identify interested prospects and schedule them for a quote with one of our licensed insurance professionals.
Requirements
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Friendly and professional phone presence.
- Comfortable making outbound calls.
- Self-motivated and dependable while working remotely.
- Basic computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous telemarketing, customer service, appointment-setting, or sales experience is preferred but not required.
- Personable, persistent, and enjoys connecting with people.
- Can follow a script, handle objections professionally, and generate interest from potential customers.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospective insurance customers.
- Follow provided scripts and talking points.
- Identify interested prospects and gather basic information.
- Schedule appointments or transfer qualified prospects to an agent.
- Maintain accurate notes and call records.
- Meet weekly activity and lead-generation goals.
- Represent the agency professionally and courteously on every call.
