About The Position

This position supports Catholic Medical Center’s mission to improve the quality of life of those it serves by addressing the needs of the whole person. Under the general supervision of the Food Service Supervisor, the Work Leader performs routine duties in patient and retail food services. The role requires proficiency across all assigned job duties and positions, with other duties performed as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
Must demonstrate good judgment and reliability.
Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Six months of food service experience in healthcare, hotel, or hospitality service preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate the room service system.
Assemble and deliver meal trays.
Perform simple food preparation.
Wash pots and pans.
Support catering services.
Perform cashier duties.
Work across all assigned food service duties and positions.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
