About The Position

French Florist in Westlake Village is seeking a creative, experienced, and passionate Lead Floral Designer to join and grow with the team. The Lead Designer will work with flowers from around the world to create arrangements for customers and will bring leadership skills to help build and inspire a supportive team. The position includes floral design, customer service, team oversight, workspace organization, and inventory management.

Requirements

• Prior experience in floral design.
• Strong understanding of floral design styles, mechanics, and trends.
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Passion for flowers, design, and creating memorable customer experiences.
• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 30 lbs.
• Frequent use of hands and arms for cutting, arranging, and wrapping flowers.
• Comfort working in a cooler environment and handling water-based materials.

• Previous team leadership or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and create floral arrangements for a variety of occasions.
• Provide customer service and guide customers in their floral selections.
• Oversee scheduling, hiring, and training of designers, drivers, and future team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
• Manage floral inventory and ensure supplies are stocked and fresh.
• Foster a positive team culture and maintain a high level of service and creativity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
