Lead Flooring Installer - Paid Training!
About The Position
West Shore Home is seeking a Lead Flooring Installer to perform safe, effective flooring installations in accordance with company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols while providing customers with a 5-star experience. The role is based in Ocala, Florida, and follows a Monday–Friday schedule starting at 6:30 AM. Installers report to the warehouse to load materials and trucks, then travel to customers’ homes to remove existing flooring, install replacement floors, replace trim, clean the work area, and complete paperwork and payment collection before returning to the warehouse. Paid training is provided.
Requirements
- Experience installing windows or doors, or experience in carpentry, remodeling, or construction; alternatively, a willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- A valid smartphone or smart device to log into company-required systems using two-factor authentication.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
- Travel to customers’ homes, greet customers, and establish rapport.
- Demonstrate and remove existing flooring, install replacement floors, and replace trim.
- Clean up thoroughly and take care in the customer’s home.
- Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
- Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols.
