Flooring Installer - Paid Training!
About The Position
West Shore Home is a technology-driven home improvement company specializing in bathroom, flooring, window, and door remodels. The Flooring Installer assists with safe and effective flooring installations in accordance with company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols, while providing customers with a five-star experience. The role is based in Huntsville, Alabama, and includes paid training. The workday starts at the warehouse at 6:30 AM, where installers load materials and trucks before traveling to customers’ homes. Installers remove existing flooring, install replacement floors and trim, clean the work area, collect paperwork and payment, and return to the warehouse. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Experience installing windows or doors, or experience in carpentry, remodeling, or construction; alternatively, a willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- A valid smartphone or smart device to log into company-required systems using two-factor authentication.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
- Travel to customers’ homes, greet customers, and establish rapport.
- Demonstrate and remove existing flooring, install replacement flooring, and replace trim.
- Clean up thoroughly and take care in customers’ homes.
- Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
- Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols while carrying out installations safely and effectively.
