•$185,000 - $210,000•Onsite

About The Position

Verkada is hiring its first Lead Field Content Marketer to own content, programming, and reusable content systems for more than 500 events each year, ranging from its annual user conference, VerkadaOne, to regional events, security summits, and intimate roundtables. The role will build templatized content frameworks that help events ship faster and maintain consistent quality, while integrating event programs with quarterly global campaigns and the broader marketing funnel. The position owns event content and programming end to end, with support from a separate event logistics team, and requires working onsite at Verkada’s San Mateo, California office five days per week, with flexibility to travel for regional events. The Lead Field Content Marketer will develop event agendas, session formats, website and registration copy, email tracks, brochures, and internal promotion materials. They will coordinate event programming and content schedules, create tailored breakout sessions for customers, prospects, and partners, adapt conference content for regional events, and ensure pre-event acquisition, in-event engagement, and post-event follow-up support pipeline development. They will also curate recorded event sessions and update Verkada’s web properties for post-event reuse. Verkada describes itself as a provider of an integrated, privacy-sensitive, AI-powered physical security platform. The company reports serving more than 30,000 customers, including more than 100 Fortune 500 companies, and having more than 2 million devices deployed across 170-plus countries. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 9–12 years of relevant experience. Annual on-target earnings for full-time employees are estimated at $185,000–$210,000, with potential additional compensation such as discretionary bonuses or equity depending on the role.
