Sargent & Lundy•Atlanta, GA
•$118,023 - $180,313•Hybrid

About The Position

The Lead Electrical Engineer will lead a project team of engineers and designers in the design, modification, and analysis of electrical systems supporting nuclear material processing, nuclear waste treatment, storage and disposal systems, and commercial nuclear power plants. Assignments include designing, investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving a broad range of electrical engineering issues. The position offers a hybrid arrangement, with work from home and in the office. The role leads detailed electrical design phases, coordinates systems design to meet specifications, codes, and client requirements, and helps ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Work includes electrical calculations and studies, design documentation, vendor coordination, technical reviews, client liaison, and mentoring less experienced engineers. The position is part of Sargent & Lundy’s Government Services Division, which provides engineering design and consulting support to DOE sites, national laboratories, and NNSA locations.
