About The Position

The Lead Electrical Engineer 1 leads a project team of engineers and designers working on the design, modification, and analysis of electrical systems for nuclear material processing, nuclear waste treatment, storage and disposal, and commercial nuclear power facilities. The role includes challenging design, investigation, troubleshooting, and problem-solving assignments. Work is performed in a hybrid arrangement combining work from home and office work. The position leads electrical engineering design coordination and helps ensure projects meet schedule, budget, specifications, codes, and client requirements. It includes preparing and reviewing electrical calculations and design documentation, coordinating with vendors, preparing technical reports and studies, and independently reviewing other team members’ work. The role also involves mentoring less experienced engineers and sharing knowledge through the company’s engineering processes and Communities of Practice.
