About The Position

The Lead Dairy/FF Clerk helps ensure guest service and department operations are maintained in the dairy and frozen food department. The role involves stocking, rotating, conditioning, ordering, and merchandising dairy and frozen products; maintaining inventory, sanitation, and organized storage areas; assisting with deliveries and inventory preparation; and supporting front-end duties as needed. Pay starts at $15 per hour. Ability to work amid temperature fluctuations in and around the dairy and frozen department.
Ability to bend, kneel, stand, and push or pull stock carts for extended periods.
Ability to operate a pallet jack for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Provide polite, friendly interactions with guests and co-workers.
Stock, rotate, and condition dairy and frozen products according to company standards and productivity guidelines.
Maintain a neat and safe work area for guests.
Keep cooler and freezer overstock organized, inventoried, rotated, and dated.
Minimize damage and shrink through inventory control, product rotation, and proper handling.
Assist with unloading and verifying merchandise deliveries.
Order milk, eggs, and other dairy and frozen products to maintain appropriate product levels, rotation, and inventory control.
Maintain ordering paperwork and follow stock-loss documentation procedures.
Maintain sanitation standards on the sales floor and in cooler and freezer areas.
Perform front-end duties as needed to uphold the No Noticeable Wait standard.
Prepare dairy and frozen food departments for grocery inventory.
Work with the Receiver and Store Manager to meet guest demand for direct-store-delivery frozen and dairy items.
Order and merchandise advertised items to maximize sales and profits.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
