About The Position

The Lead Custodian/Housekeeper independently provides comprehensive custodial and housekeeping services for campus facilities while training, supervising, and supporting a team of custodians or housekeepers. The position ensures consistent cleanliness standards through the safe and effective use of chemicals, cleaning appliances, tools, and equipment. Duties require demonstrated competence, appropriate prior training, and strict adherence to established safety and operational procedures. The role also requires the ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions and materials accurately, and to apply basic math and computer skills in performing job responsibilities.

Requirements

• At least 12 months of custodial experience.
• No education required.
• Valid Oklahoma driver's license required to drive university vehicles, or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions and materials accurately.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Demonstrated competence and appropriate prior training.
