About The Position

The Lead Custodian/Housekeeper independently provides comprehensive custodial and housekeeping services for campus facilities while training, supervising, and supporting a team of custodians or housekeepers. The position ensures consistent cleanliness standards through the safe and effective use of chemicals, cleaning appliances, tools, and equipment. Duties require appropriate prior training, demonstrated competence, and strict adherence to established safety and operational procedures. The role also requires the ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions and materials, and to use basic math and computer skills.

Requirements

• At least 12 months of custodial experience.
• No education required.
• Valid Oklahoma driver's license to drive university vehicles, or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions and materials.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Appropriate prior training and demonstrated competence in the duties.
