About The Position

Ace Handyman Services is seeking a motivated, multi-skilled Lead Craftsman to perform quality handyman repairs and provide excellent customer service in Stockton and the surrounding areas. The role requires broad knowledge across multiple trades, project management experience, and the leadership skills to oversee a small crew. The successful candidate follows company policies and procedures, completes assigned work promptly and professionally, and communicates effectively with management, coworkers, customers, suppliers, and property managers. The position is presented as a W-2 role with the flexibility of an independent job. Compensation is $30.00–$34.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 5 years of Master Craftsman experience.
Knowledge of multiple trades, including plumbing, carpentry, tile, electrical, and flooring.
Own a truck or van and tools.
Know which tools and equipment are needed for different tasks.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong work ethic and professional demeanor.
Collaborative, optimistic, and reliable.
Presentable appearance, a decent-looking vehicle, and organized tools.
Project management experience and leadership skills to oversee a small crew.

Responsibilities

Perform quality handyman repairs, including carpentry, drywall repair, painting, tile work, and basic plumbing and electrical work.
Use project management and leadership skills to oversee a small crew.
Troubleshoot problems and develop prompt, professional resolutions.
Complete assigned tasks in a timely and professional manner while following company policies, procedures, and practices.
Communicate with management, office personnel, fellow employees, homeowners, suppliers, property managers, and commercial customers.
