About The Position

Ace Handyman Services is seeking a motivated, professional Craftsman with skills across multiple trades to perform home and business repair, maintenance, and improvement work in the Kenosha area. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality craftsmanship and customer service, completes assigned work promptly and professionally, and uses independent judgment and problem-solving skills. The role involves working with customers and company personnel, identifying and communicating additional repair or improvement needs, and helping earn customer confidence through reliable, detail-oriented service. The position offers a Monday-through-Friday schedule from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with no weekend work. The franchise describes a positive, collaborative team environment, competitive compensation, incentives, and opportunities to grow and advance. This is a W-2 position with the flexibility of an independent job. Ace Handyman Services is a network of independently owned and operated franchises; hiring decisions are made by the franchise owner.

Requirements

Good overall knowledge of multiple trades, including plumbing, carpentry, tile, and electrical work.
Ability to identify what tools and equipment are needed for particular tasks.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with customers, coworkers, management, and suppliers.
Professional, clean-cut appearance and an organized set of tools.

Responsibilities

Complete assigned repair, maintenance, and improvement tasks in a timely and professional manner.
Apply skills in multiple trades, including plumbing, carpentry, tile, and electrical work.
Assess issues, troubleshoot problems, and resolve them promptly and professionally.
Communicate effectively with management, office personnel, fellow employees, homeowners, suppliers, property managers, and commercial customers.
Look over properties and inform customers about repairs or other work the company can perform.
Build customer confidence and identify appropriate opportunities for additional work.
Maintain punctuality, efficiency, integrity, and a high standard of customer satisfaction.
Contribute as an integral member of the team and strive to exceed customer expectations.
