About The Position

Ace Handyman Services is seeking a highly motivated, professional Craftsman with skills across multiple trades to perform home and business repair, maintenance, and improvement work in the Kenosha area. The role calls for quality craftsmanship, strong customer service, timely and professional completion of assigned tasks, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a team. The work includes a variety of projects, primarily for repeat and referral customers, and may involve identifying and discussing additional repair work with customers. The position is with an independently owned and operated franchise; applications go directly to the franchise owner, who makes hiring decisions.

Requirements

Good overall knowledge of multiple trades, including plumbing, carpentry, tile, and electrical work.
Ability to determine what tools and equipment are needed for assigned tasks.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with customers, coworkers, management, and suppliers.
Clean-cut, presentable appearance.
An organized set of tools and a decent-looking vehicle.

Responsibilities

Complete assigned repair, maintenance, and improvement tasks in a timely and professional manner.
Perform work across multiple trades, including plumbing, carpentry, tile, and electrical work.
Troubleshoot issues and resolve them promptly and professionally.
Communicate effectively with management, office personnel, fellow employees, homeowners, suppliers, property managers, and commercial customers.
Inspect the property and communicate potential repair work the company can perform.
Build customer confidence and identify additional work that may be useful to the customer.
Maintain punctuality, efficiency, integrity, and a high standard of customer satisfaction.
Exceed customer expectations and contribute as an integral member of the team.
