About The Position
Ace Handyman Services is seeking a motivated, multi-skilled Lead Craftsman to perform quality handyman repairs and provide excellent customer service. The role requires project management experience and leadership skills to oversee a small crew. The successful candidate follows company policies and procedures, completes assigned work professionally and on time, and communicates effectively with management, office personnel, coworkers, homeowners, suppliers, property managers, and commercial customers. Requirements
- At least 5 years of Master Craftsman experience.
- Project management experience and the ability to oversee a small crew.
- Knowledge of multiple trades, including plumbing, carpentry, tile, electrical, and flooring.
- Own a truck or van and tools; know what equipment is needed for particular tasks.
- Strong work ethic and professional demeanor.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Collaborative, optimistic, and reliable.
- Presentable appearance, a decent-looking truck or van, and organized tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality handyman repairs across multiple trades, including carpentry, drywall repair, painting, tile work, and basic plumbing and electrical work.
- Use project management and leadership skills to oversee a small crew.
- Complete assigned tasks in a timely and professional manner and follow company policies, procedures, and practices.
- Communicate with management, office personnel, fellow employees, homeowners, suppliers, property managers, and commercial customers.
- Troubleshoot problems and identify prompt, professional resolutions.
