Craftsman
About The Position
The Craftsman completes maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects, using detailed workmanship across materials such as wood, metal, ceramics, or textiles as project requirements dictate. The role involves selecting suitable materials based on their properties, durability, design requirements, and client preferences, and using and maintaining a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently. Craftsmen are expected to deliver excellent customer experiences and maintain an average customer review rating of at least 4.5 stars. The position requires a truck or van, personal tools, a current and valid driver’s license and auto insurance, and at least three years of U.S. driving experience. The successful candidate must be able to pass a background check and drug screen and become OSHA 10 Certified after 90 days of employment. The role is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in multiple trades.
- Current and valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
- At least 3 years of U.S. driving experience.
- Own a truck or van.
- Own personal tools.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to become OSHA 10 Certified after 90 days of employment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Proficiency with technology.
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders and stairs at least 15 feet.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
- Natural or corrected vision sufficient for close, distance, and peripheral vision with normal depth perception.
Nice To Haves
- Experience providing estimates of job time and cost and handling billing is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with ServiceTitan is a plus.
